Happy New Year!!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great and safe New Years Eve. We didn't do a whole lot. We had Brayden and so we just stayed at home. We drank some wine, watched tv, and played Rummy-O :) Brayden actually made it until the new year! He celebrated with us as the countdown was going on. Then we called Mychael (who had also stayed awake until the new year) and talked to him. It was a relaxing night.

Christmas was also a good time. We had so many celebrations to go to this year and we aren't even done! Mychael was in Oklahoma this year so that put a damper on things. Dave had to work Christmas Eve so Brayden and I headed down to Chester to celebrate with my moms side of the family. Then when they leave we do just our Christmas (my family). Once Brayden slept all the way home he was up until 2am. It was a tiring night. Christmas Day we got up and did our Christmas with Brayden, then we head over to Tanjas to do Christmas with Daves family. After that we headed to Troy to have Christmas with Daves dads side of the family. After that it was home to another LONG night with Brayden. I think all of the activity was throwing him off. The Saturday after Christmas Brayden and I headed back down to Chester (Mychael was still in OK and Dave worked again) so we could have Christmas with my dads side of the family. It was all tiring but it was a really great Christmas with the exception of Mychael being gone. That always makes it feel weird. I think all of us had a great few days.

Mychael came back Sunday and so Sunday night we had our Christmas together (Dave, me, Mychael, and Brayden) and opened presents. After that we stayed up really late playing games. I finally got smart and started buying him games that I really like so now I'm the one begging to play (which is why Dave was playing rummy-o at 1am last night). We got Mychael a Wii Fit for Christmas. It has so many fun games on it! We are really enjoying that right now. I'm sore as all hell but its too much fun to stop. I'm trying to remember what all Mychael got for Christmas but I am blank. Every year I say I'm going to reduce the amount of stuff we give him and every year it just seems to pile up. This year though he is interested in everything he got so I think it will actually be used. Last year he got so much that we still have it (in packages) in his room and in the garage. Those will be going to Salvation Army soon.

Brayden also had a great 1st Christmas and really got a LOT of stuff for it. I had to clear all of his old toys out of the living room just so I could put the new toys in here to play with. He also got a lot of really cute clothes for winter. That is what he really needed! He is getting so big so quick that we didn't have many clothes for winter for him to wear. Problem solved in that area!

I know I haven't wrote as much lately and I am going to try to fix that now. There just wasn't that much going on around here to write about. From now on I will become more interesting.

See ya,
Christy
